Former U.S. representative and presidential candidate John Delaney (D-MD) and his wife April Delaney filed a quiet title action against the Henlopen Acres Beach Club on Friday in Delaware Court of Chancery. The suit, filed by Barnes & Thornburg, accuses the defendant of wrongfully demanding the removal of a wooden plank walkway leading from the plaintiffs' house to the beach so that the area can be filled with grass. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 2023-0269, Delaney et al. v. Henlopen Acres Beach Club Inc.
