Post & Schell filed a breach-of-contract lawsuit Thursday in Pennsylvania Eastern District Court accusing Taiwan-based New Widetech Industries of selling approximately 1 million defective dehumidifiers. The complaint was brought on behalf of Danby Products, which contends that the products are unusable fire hazards. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 2:22-cv-00155, Danby Products, Inc. v. New Widetech Industries Co., Ltd.
