New Suit - Contract

CSX, the Florida-based railroad freight company, sued Seagate Handling Inc. Monday in Georgia Southern District Court. The suit alleges that Seagate breached its shipment agreement by failing to properly secure a tank car delivered to CSX with 16,111 gallons of nitrogen fertilizer solution. The court case, which asserts damages of at least $199,000, was filed by Mozley Finlayson & Loggins. Lawyers have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 4:21-cv-00273, CSX Transportation, Inc. v. Seagate Handling, Inc.
