Attorneys at Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani on Thursday removed an employment lawsuit against Aya Healthcare Inc., Labcorp Employer Services Inc. and Novant Health Inc. to South Carolina District Court. The suit was filed by attorney Gary Ivan Finklea on behalf of a traveling nurse, who contends she was wrongfully terminated after testing positive for amphetamines in her drug test screening. The complaint also pursues negligence and defamation claims. Novant is represented by Nexsen Pruet. The case is 4:23-cv-01163, Cooper v. Aya Healthcare Inc et al.
