Cooley hired partner William Pao in its Los Angeles office on Wednesday to join its securities litigation and enforcement group. Pao joins Cooley after more than 12 years as a partner at O'Melveny & Myers, where he was the chair of its financial technology group and co-chair of the artificial intelligence practice group.
