Niomie Porretti first filed the lawsuit in January 2017, and alleged the ice underneath the snow should have been removed by the defendant. When the plaintiff fell, she claimed she hurt her head, neck, back and knees, and one of her doctors testified that she would need ongoing care for her injuries.
