B. John Casey of Stoel Rives has entered an appearance for Nike and other defendants in a pending securities lawsuit. The complaint was filed June 20 in Oregon District Court by Stoll Stoll Berne Lokting & Shlachter; Kessler Topaz Meltzer & Check; and Klausner, Kaufman, Jensen & Levinsonon on behalf of the City Pension Fund for Firefighters and Police Officers in the City of Pembroke Pines. The suit accuses the defendants of misrepresenting the strength of the company's direct-to-consumer strategy and downplaying significant competitive pressure. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Adrienne Nelson, is 3:24-cv-00974, City Pension Fund for Firefighters and Police Officers in the City of Pembroke Pines v. Nike, Inc. et al.
