Kirkland & Ellis has stepped in to represent beverage giant Constellation Brands, Crown Imports and other defendants in a trademark dispute over the Corona beer brand. The complaint was filed Feb. 15 in New York Southern District Court by Sullivan & Cromwell on behalf of Cerveceria Modelo de Mexico. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Lewis A. Kaplan, is 1:21-cv-01317, Cerveceria Modelo de Mexico, S. de R.L. de C.V. v. Cb Brand Strategies, LLC et al.
