New Suit - Employment

CDW, a technology supplier, sued a former company executive Thursday in Delaware District Court for alleged breach of contract. The court action, brought by Katten Muchin Rosenman and Klehr Harrison Harvey Branzburg, takes aim at Jay Johnson, who served as senior vice president for managed services for Sirius Computer Solutions, a company acquired by CDW in Dec. 2021. CDW accuses Johnson of breaching non-compete provisions of his equity compensation agreements by going to work for a competitor after accepting a $3 million incentive payment. Lawyers have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 1:22-cv-00632, Cdw, Inc. et al v. Johnson.
