Digital currency wallet and trading platform Coinbase and other defendants were slapped with a securities class action Tuesday in California Northern District Court. The suit, brought by WeissLaw and Federman & Sherwood, accuses Coinbase insiders of misleading investors regarding the company's financial health and the resiliency of its cryptocurrency trading platform. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 3:21-cv-06149, Catterlin v. Coinbase Global, Inc. et al.
