Steptoe & Johnson partner Anthony G. Hopp has entered an appearance for CVS Health and CVS Pharmacy in a pending consumer class action. The suit, filed May 18 in New York Western District Court by the Schlanger Law Group and the Wilshire Law Firm, contends that CVS-brand hand sanitizer does not eliminate 99% of all germs as the marketing implies. The defendants are also represented by Nixon Peabody. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Elizabeth A. Wolford, is 6:22-cv-06227, Catholdi-Jankowski v. CVS Health Corporation et al.
