HP Inc. was hit with a consumer class action Wednesday in California Northern District Court accusing the company of false reference pricing. The complaint, filed by Edge PLC and Capstone Law, alleges that HP misrepresents in marketing the pricing of its products, giving consumers the impression that products are being sold at a discount. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 5:21-cv-08015, Carvalho v. HP, Inc.
