Amazon and Alma Gourmet were sued on March 5 in California Superior Court for Alameda County for alleged violations of California’s Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act. The court case, brought by Entorno Law on behalf of Environmental Health Advocates, accuses the defendants of failing to warn consumers of cadmium and lead exposure in their products.
