Amazon.com and other defendants were hit with an employment discrimination and wrongful termination lawsuit on April 22 in California Superior Court for Riverside County. The court action was brought by Valiant Law on behalf of a former employee who contends that she was discriminated against on the bases of disability and sex when she was denied accommodations for a work-related injury and pregnancy before being wrongfully terminated in retaliation for requesting accommodations. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is Quinones v. Amazon.Com Services LLC.
