Jackson Lewis was sued for legal malpractice on Oct. 6 in California Superior Court for Los Angeles County. The suit was brought by the Stalwart Law Group on behalf of former client Amada Senior Care, which was sued by a former employee for alleged disability-based employment discrimination. The suit contends that due to Jackson Lewis' failure to produce evidence and witness testimony which would have proven that the employee was treated the same way that other employees were treated, the employee won at arbitration and was awarded nearly $1 million in damages.
