New Suit - Contract Class Action

Norton LifeLock, a provider of identity theft prevention software, was slapped with a breach-of-contract class action on Feb. 16 in California Superior Court for Los Angeles County. According to the complaint, the defendant failed to alert class members to instances of identity theft and failed to honor its promises to reimburse customers 'dollar for dollar' for identity theft. The suit was brought by Liang Ly LLP. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 24STCV04070, Cordon v. Norton Lifelock, Inc.
