UPS was hit with an employment lawsuit on Jan. 25 in California Superior Court for Los Angeles County pursuant to the state’s Private Attorneys General Act. The suit, brought by Koul Law Firm and Majarian Law Group, accuses UPS of failing to provide suitable bathroom facilities to employees working in the field, including drivers, who had to resort to relieving themselves in other spaces. According to the complaint, the facilities contained a mess of human waste because there was no proper place to dispose of urine and other unsanitary bathroom related items. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 24STCV02070, Barnett v. United Parcel Service, Inc.
