Edgewell Personal Care was slapped with a consumer class action on Sept. 13 in California Superior Court for Contra Costa County in connection with its 'Banana Boat' brand facial sunscreen products. The complaint, filed by Crosner Legal, contends that the defendant's charge more for their facial products, despite both facial and skincare products containing similar amounts of the exact same ingredients. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 13007700, Holland v. Edgewell Personal Care Brands.
