Wingstop Restaurants was hit with a consumer class action on Sept. 8 in California Superior Court for Contra Costa County over the company's gift card policies. The suit, filed by Law Offices of Todd M. Friedman, contends that Wingstop has an unlawful policy of refusing to redeem the cash value of gift cards that are under $10. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 12974956, Walsh v. Wingstop Restaurants, Inc.
