Justin R. Barnes of Jackson Lewis and Cindi L. Ritchey of Jones Day have entered an appearance for IBM in a pending employment class action. The suit pursues claims under the California Labor Code on behalf of individuals employed by the defendant as sales representatives and managers who earn sales commissions. The action was filed Aug. 27 in California Northern District Court by Milberg Coleman Bryson Phillips Grossman. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers, is 3:21-cv-06645, Briggs v. International Business Machines Corporation (IBM).
