MetLife was slapped with an ERISA lawsuit Wednesday in Georgia Northern District Court. The court case, pertaining to long-term disability benefits, was brought by Richard W. Sarrell II LLC on behalf of Cristi Bishop. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 2:23-cv-00111, Bishop v. Metropolitan Life Insurance Company.
