Ahdoot & Wolfson and Barnow and Associates filed a data breach class action Tuesday in California Central District Court against online sporting goods retailers Running Warehouse, Skate Warehouse and other defendants. The suit, which accuses defendants of failing to implement adequate data security measures, arises from an Oct. 2021 breach impacting the personal information of millions of consumers. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 5:22-cv-00012, Arcilla v. Wilderness Sports Warehouse, LLC et al.
