A judge and prosecutor are in the running to become the next Superior Court judge to join the Appalachian Judicial Circuit that services Fannin, Gilmer, and Pickens counties.The Judicial Nominating Commission of Georgia has released its short list of candidates from which Gov. Brian Kemp is expected to fill a vacancy created by the death of Superior Court Judge John E. Worcester in August.
