Sarah A. Sullivan, William C. Baton and Alex Callo from Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr have stepped in to defend Samsung Bioepis in a pending patent infringement lawsuit. The case, filed Aug. 12 in New Jersey District Court by Walsh Pizzi O'Reilly Falanga; Sidley Austin; and Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo on behalf of Amgen, asserts 34 patents related to the methods of manufacturing bone cancer drugs and related products. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Christine P. O'Hearn, is 1:24-cv-08417, Amgen Inc. et al v. Samsung Bioepis Co., Ltd. et al.
