A group of Yazidi-Americans represented by human rights lawyer Amal Clooney and attorneys at Jenner & Block sued French conglomerate Lafarge S.A. on Thursday in the Eastern District of New York, arguing that the company owes damages for violations of the Anti-Terrorism Act for its support of the terrorist group ISIS. Human rights attorney Amal Clooney and Jenner & Block partner Lee Wolosky allege that and forfeiture obtained through the guilty plea was not earmarked for ISIS' victims.
