Cozen O'Connor filed an insurance lawsuit Wednesday in Pennsylvania Eastern District Court on behalf of Allstate Life Insurance Co. The complaint pursues claims against V. Ann Kichline, as executor of the estate of Brittany Zellner, and Tara Erb. Allstate seeks a determination regarding the proper beneficiary of the remaining structured settlement payments due under an annuity issued for the benefit of Zellner. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 2:21-cv-03342, Allstate Life Insurance Co. v. Kichline.
