New Suit

Twitter and other defendants were sued Wednesday in California Northern District Court for allegedly allowing third parties to access a users' confidential information. The lawsuit was filed by Gerstman Schwartz LLP on behalf of Ali Al-Ahmed, a Saudi Arabian national and human rights advocate who has been granted asylum in the United States. Al-Ahmed accuses Twitter of allowing Saudi agents to access his sensitive journalistic information in order to appease Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, reported to control a $300 million stake in Twitter. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 3:21-cv-08017, Al-Ahmed v. Twitter, Inc. et al.
