Robins Kaplan brought a product liability lawsuit Tuesday in Pennsylvania Eastern District Court against Luitpold Pharmaceuticals and other defendants. The suit, filed on behalf of Carrie Adams and Michael Adams, accuses the defendants of failing to warn consumers that injectable iron product Injectafer can cause severe hypophosphatemia. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 2:21-cv-03454, Adams et al. v. Luitpold Pharmaceuticals, Inc. et al.
