Litigation Surge - Patent | LG Electronics U.S.A.
LG Electronics was hit with a swarm of patent cases in Texas last month. At least four patent lawsuits were filed, two of which allege that liquid crystal display units in LG televisions, computers and other devices infringe 12 patents owned by Bishop Display Tech. Plus, Media Key filed a lawsuit alleging that the content management platform LG SuperSign CMS infringes the plaintiff's patent, and serial patent litigant Celerity IP claims that 4G, 5G and LTE technology used in LG's mobile phones infringes five patents owned by Celerity.
