Barnes & Thornburg partners Genevieve E. Charlton, Jonathan P. Froemel and John T. Gabrielides are representing home health care provider Res-Care Inc. in a pending trademark lawsuit over its use of the trade name 'BrightSpring.' The suit was filed Aug. 27 in Illinois Northern District Court by Husch Blackwell on behalf of 24-7 Bright Star Healthcare. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Charles R. Norgle Sr., is 1:21-cv-04609, 24-7 Bright Star Healthcare, LLC v. Res-Care, Inc. d/b/a BrightSpring Health Services.
