Aquilio Participates in ABA Section of Litigation Fall Leadership Meeting

Rita M. Aquilio, a partner in the matrimonial and family law department of Bridgewater-based Norris McLaughlin & Marcus, and co-chair of the American Bar Association Section of Litigation’s Family Law Litigation Committee, participated in the section’s fall leadership meeting Oct. 5-7 at Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth Hotel in Montreal, Canada. As continuing co-chair of the Family Law Litigation Committee, Aquilio plays a leadership role in the largest section of the ABA. The committee follows national developments in family law litigation and brings appropriate issues to the attention of the section for its input and action. Aquilio practices extensively in the areas of divorce, child support, custody, and post-judgment issues. She represents clients in all types of matrimonial actions, from basic matters to complex asset valuation cases. Aquilio is a trained collaborative divorce attorney and a member of the Executive Committee of the Somerset County Family Practice Committee. She is also a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA) Family Law Executive Committee of the Family Law Section. She earned her J.D. from Western New England College School of Law, and her B.A. from Drew University, cum laude.

Mandelbaum Salsburg’s special needs practice group in Roseland sponsored and participated in the Spectrum 360 “Walk for a Lifetime” on May 7 in Verona Park in Verona. The walk raised $110,000 in support of Spectrum 360’s educational and therapeutic programs for individuals with learning, language and social/emotional challenges.
