Scarinci Hollenbeck welcomes four law students to its 2017 Summer Associate Program. Three will be based at the firm’s Lyndhurst office and one in Red Bank. Throughout the program, the Summer Associates will receive training in various aspects of the law, as well as varied, distinct and interesting assignments. They will also have the opportunity to observe experienced attorneys trying cases, negotiating contracts and counseling clients. Catherine Soliman will begin her third year at Seton Hall Law School in the fall. She is Managing Editor of Seton Hall Law Review (2017-18), and was previously Associate Editor (2016-17). She earned her B.A. in political science from Seton Hall University in 2015. Zach Hansen recently completed his second year at Seton Hall Law School in Newark, where he is the Associate Editor of the Circuit Review. He is also a member of the Student Bar Association, the Entertainment & Sports Law Society, and the Academics & Curriculum Committee. Hunain Sunwar attends New York Law School, where recently completed his second year. A merit-based scholarship student, he is a member of the Sports Law Society, the International Law Society, and the First Generation Professional Law Students Association. Paul Scarinci attends Boston College Law School, where he recently completed his first year. He is a member of the Boston College Law Democrats and the Boston College Business Law Society. His eclectic background includes working as an Assistant Manager of External Relations for the China General Chamber of Commerce.
Javerbaum Wurgaft Welcomes Asatrian as Of Counsel
Martin Asatrian joins Javerbaum Wurgaft Hicks Kahn Wikstrom & Sinins as of counsel, chairing the firm’s immigration department in the Springfield office. Asatrian has more than 12 years of experience in immigration litigation. He has a substantial track record in representing immigration clients in the areas of citizenship, adjustment of status, fiancé visa, violence against women, family petitions and other areas of family-based immigration applications and petitions. Asatrian is an adjunct professor at William Paterson University, Essex County College, and Bergen Community College in the political science departments. He is also in the process of publishing a book entitled “Only in America; Case for Immigration Law and Human Rights.” He earned his college degree from New York University and his law degree from New York Law School. He has also obtained a certificate of International Law from Oxford University, United Kingdom.
