A former JPMorgan Chase employee who filed an Equal Employment Opportunity Commission intake questionnaire, but no formal charge on time, can pursue her age-bias suit, a federal judge in Newark says.

The questionnaire, which included necessary information about the parties, alleged discrimination and relief sought, was enough to put JPMorgan on notice, U.S. District Judge Susan Wigenton ruled on July 27 in Walker-Robinson v. J.P. Morgan Chase Bank, 11-cv-4913.
