Blank Rome partner Eric Fikry was sworn in as the 91st president of the Camden County Bar Association (CCBA), the second-largest county bar in New Jersey, on June 9, 2017, at the annual Gala Installation of Association and Foundation Officers & Trustees Dinner Dance at Lucien’s Manor in Berlin. With this appointment, Fikry receives the notable distinction of becoming the first Asian Pacific American attorney to serve as president of CCBA. Mr. Fikry and the other officers and trustees received their oaths of office from the Honorable Linda W. Eynon, J.S.C. In addition to his work with CCBA, Mr. Fikry holds leadership roles in several bar associations. He recently completed his term as president of the Asian Pacific American Lawyers Association of New Jersey. He also serves on the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Board of Trustees on behalf of the Casino Law Section, and is a past chair of the NJSBA’s Casino Law Section. He also previously served as chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Gaming Law Committee. At Blank Rome in Princeton, Fikry concentrates his practice in the area of commercial litigation. He represents clients in a wide variety of business disputes and employment litigation matters. He has served as a member of Blank Rome’s Diversity Committee, and was selected by Blank Rome to be a member of the 2013 Class of Fellows for the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity. He has previously served as chair of the Camden County Bar Foundation’s President’s Commission on Diversity, and as a co-chair of NJSBA’s Diversity Committee. In 2011, he was recognized by the Rutgers-Camden Asian Pacific American Law Students Association for his efforts in promoting diversity and supporting the Asian American legal community.

Suriano Named Among Top 25 Leading Women™ Entrepreneurs & Business Owners

Rosaria Suriano, a partner in the litigation practice group at Brach Eichler in Roseland, has been named among the Top 25 Leading Women™ Entrepreneurs and Business Owners. The top 25 honorees were chosen from a list of 1,000 nominees and represent women business leaders in New Jersey. Leading Women™ Entrepreneurs recognizes outstanding women business owners and entrepreneurs who exhibit outstanding performance in four areas: market potential, innovation, community involvement and advocacy for women. Suriano is an experienced litigator with more than 28 years of trial and appellate court experience in both state and federal courts. She has extensive experience representing large and mid-sized companies in business litigation, contract disputes, business tort matters, real estate transactions and construction litigation, as well as appellate matters. She earned her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law and her B.A. from Seton Hall University.
