A shopping center in Linden has been sold for $3.25 million, according to real estate brokerage TheKislak Company Inc. Woodbridge-based Kislak said the 25,783-square-foot, CVS-anchored property on North Wood Avenue has been family-owned since the 1940s. Neither the buyer nor the seller was disclosed.

Alarm Company Purchases Another Security Firm

Union-based security company Supreme Security Systems Inc. has acquired Homeguard Alarm Systems Inc., the company announced. Supreme Security Systems said in a news release that the company expects a smooth transition for clients of the Fair Haven-based company. Homeguard had nearly 500 clients, Supreme Security Systems said. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
