Rochelle Park-based ORBCOMM Inc. has entered into an agreement to acquire Skygistics Ltd. and its South African and Australian subsidiaries, the provider of M2M and IoT solutions announced last week. Skygistics, based in South Africa, provides satellite and cellular connectivity options and telematics solutions. Skygistics will provide distribution for ORBCOMM’s products in Africa, ORCOMM said in a news release.
Holman Automotive to Acquire Kuni Automotive in Washington
Holman Automotive will acquire Kuni Automotive, it was announced last week. Holman, a Maple Shade-based international automotive services company said in a statement that its acquisition of the Vancouver, Washington-based dealership will create one of the largest privately owned dealer networks in the country. The purchase is expected to be complete this summer. It will create a bicoastal dealer network with 33 dealerships and more than $3 billion in annual revenue, Holman Automotive said in a news release. Holman currently has dealerships in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Florida. Kuni Automotive has dealerships in Washington, Oregon, California, Colorado and Kansas. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
