The new owner of the vacant Revel Casino Hotel in Atlantic City has suffered a setback in its ongoing effort to terminate a contract with the operator of a power plant serving the property.
U.S. District Judge Jerome Simandle of the District of New Jersey denied a motion by Polo North Country Club Inc. to dismiss a suit filed against it by power provider ACR Energy Partners. Simandle also rejected Polo North’s claim that its own suit against ACR should be remanded to state court.
