Michael Phulwani is admitted to practice law in India, New York and New Jersey. He has been practicing law for about 40 years in the field of U.S. Immigration and Nationality Law. He has successfully handled many complex immigration matters with the Immigration and Naturalization Service and consular processing cases at American consulates abroad, especially in India.

He is the author of “Guide to U.S. Visas,” and numerous articles have been published in various ethnic South Asian newspapers and other publications in the U.S., including News India and Gujarat Times (published from New York). His knowledge and experience about the changing rules and regulations in the U.S. visa processes make him a respected attorney in different communities in the U.S. and abroad. Phulwani is a frequent lecturer on U.S. immigration law in the U.S. and abroad. He was the co-author of the consular post updates through the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) Visa Processing Guide covering information on the posts in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
