A suit filed in federal court in Trenton, N.J., claims Johnson & Johnson, Sanofi US and other talcum powder makers failed to notify women that using the product put them at greater risk of ovarian cancer.

The suit was filed by the estate of Janice Chakalos, a user of talcum powder since childhood, who died of ovarian cancer at age 63 in 2012.
