Profile: At McCarter & English, Hernandez has taken many leadership roles over the years. He has represented the NCAA and professional sports leagues against the state of New Jersey in legalizing sports-related gambling in New Jersey, preventing New Jersey from authorizing sports wagering. He represented PNY Technologies in a lawsuit against SanDiskCorp, alleging various antitrust law violations, and patent misuse. He has also represented Mayne Pharma, the New York Football Giants and their CEO, CFO, and General Counsel, and also Energy Brands in various cases. Hernandez has also shown an ability to bring in new work, including Emigrant Bank, Boylan Bottling Co. and World Finer Foods. Hernandez’s antitrust experience includes price-fixing, tying, exclusive dealing, product distribution, franchising, join ventures, trade association conduct, and patent/antitrust matters.
