With traditional law firm summer programs withering, New Jersey law students are finding summer employment in corporate law departments—though the pay tends to be lower and there’s little hope of parlaying it into a full-time position after graduation.
This summer, 21 Seton Hall University School of Law students are working for a dozen corporations covering a range of industries, according to Jessica Miles, assistant dean for career services.
