Paul Genato, an associate in the Princeton office of Archer & Greiner, was elected second vice chair of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Taxation Law Section at the association’s annual meeting and convention held on May 15 in Atlantic City, which puts him on the path to becoming Chair of the Taxation Law Section in 2016…Edwin Stern, of counsel at Gibbons in Newark, received the Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers of New Jersey’s Lawrence A. Whipple Memorial Award at its annual installation reception held on May 29 at the Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange. Stern served as the Appellate Division’s presiding judge for administration and was temporarily assigned to the state Supreme Court in 2010-11.
