Gibbons, Dunican Receive Arts Award

Gibbons and Patrick Dunican Jr., shown, the firm’s chairman and managing director, were honored by the Women’s Association of the New Jersey Performing Arts Center with the 2013 Vagelos Award for Corporate Commitment to the Arts on Oct. 5 at the center in Newark.

Gorman Named to Burlington County Bar Position

Brett Gorman, shown, an associate with Parker McCay in Mount Laurel who represents school boards, is appointed the 2013-15 Burlington County young lawyers trustee.

Rutgers’ Mock Trial Team Registers Wins

The Rutgers University American Mock Trial Association squad made an impressive showing at Penn State University’s recent Happy Valley Invitational. Rutgers’ A team won the invitational with a 7-1 record, while Rutgers’ B team finished fifth, 5-3, during the Oct. 26-27 competition in State College, Pa. Association president Gregory Cui won a Top Attorney award with a perfect score of 20 ranks. Secretary Shaleen Patel and Brandon Ferrick won Top Witness awards, the latter also with a perfect score. Team coaches included Craig Aronow of Rebenack, Aronow & Mascolo, New Brunswick, and Middlesex County Bar members Michael Roberts of Roberts & Teeter and Kimberly Yonta of Yonta Law, both of New Brunswick.
