LIXIL Corp. of Tokyo agreed on June 28 to pay $542 million for the share capital of ASDAmericas Holding Corp. of Piscataway from Sun Plumbing V Finance LLC of Boca Raton, Fla. ASD makes and sells kitchen and plumbing products. LIXIL, which makes and sells materials for commercial buildings and houses, was represented by Jones Day.
Roche Holding Buys Testing Co.
Roche Holding AG of Nutley, a drug and diagnostics company, announced on July 2 it paid $220 million for Constitution Medical Investors Inc. of Westborough, Mass., a hemotology testing company.
