The Middlesex County Bar Association installed officers and trustees for the 2013-14 term on May 22 at the St. Charles Riverboat in Perth Amboy. Officers are President Tara Auciello, a New Brunswick solo; President–elect Ellen Schwartz, of Ramatowski Spilka & Schwartz in East Brunswick; First Vice President Craig Aronow, of Rebenack Aronow & Mascolo in New Brunswick; Second Vice President Andrea Sullivan, of Greenbaum Rowe Smith & Davis in Woodbridge; Treasurer William Isele of Archer & Greiner in Princeton; and Secretary Brenda Vallecilla, a South Plainfield solo. The new trustees are John Gillick, Martin Kane Kuper, East Brunswick; Meryl Gonchar, Greenbaum Rowe Smith & Davis, Woodbridge; Louis Seminski Jr., Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer, Woodbridge; Daria Anne Venezia, Venezia & Nolan, Woodbridge; and Charles Whelan III, a New Brunswick solo. In addition, the 2013 David Pavlovsky Service to the Bar Award was given to Jack Borrus of Borrus, Goldin, Foley, Vignuolo, Hyman & Stahl in North Brunswick, and the 2013 Arthur H. Lenrow Receives Garibaldi Inn of Court Award

Robert Lenrow, an attorney/mediator with Cease Fire Mediation Services Inc. in Paramus, received the Jeydel Award from the Garibaldi Inn of Court for Alternative Dispute Resolution on May 8 at Dolce Restaurant in Basking Ridge. The award, given in recognition of excellence of ADR in the state, is named for the late Richard K. Jeydel, who served on the executive committee of the American Arbitration Association board.
