Power company NRG Energy in Princeton announced April 8 it paid about $244 million to acquire the Gregory Cogeneration Power Plant in Corpus Christi, Texas, from a group that includes Atlantic Power and life insurance provider John Hancock Life Insurance, both of Boston, and Rockland Capital LLC, an energy investment firm in The Woodlands, Texas.
Acquisition for Konica Division
United Computer Sales and Services in Cherry Hill announced April 9 it has been acquired by All Covered in Foster City, Calif., a division of electronics company Konica Minolta in Ramsey. Both provide IT services.
