Annmarie Simeone Honored By Somerset Commission


Annmarie Simeone, shown, a partner with Norris McLaughlin & Marcus in Bridgewater, was selected as an Outstanding Woman in Somerset County in the category of Law by the Somerset County Commission on the Status of Women. She was honored, on March 22 at The Imperia in Somerset, for her personal accomplishments and dedication to the profession and community. Simeone, who concentrates her practice on labor and employment matters, serves on the board of the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association and is the second vice president of the board of the Resource Center of Somerset.

Drinker Raises Money for Heart Association

Drinker Biddle & Reath in Florham Park hosted a Valentine’s Day flower and bake sale on Feb. 14 in recognition of Heart Awareness Month. The sale and other projects during the month raised $969 for the American Heart Association.

Mandelbaum Collects Donations for Heart Health

Del Pizzo Participates In ‘Cycle for Survival’

Nancy Del Pizzo, an associate at Podvey, Meanor, Catenacci, Hildner, Cocoziello & Chattman in Newark, participated in the "Cycle for Survival" on Feb. 24 in Summit. The project is an indoor team cycling event, organized under the auspices of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, which raises money for research into rare cancers.

Rutgers Team Finishes Third at Mock Trial Meet

The Rutgers University Mock Trial Association finished in third place at the Cornell University Big Red Invitational on Jan. 26-27 in Ithaca, N.Y. Top honors went to Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y., with second place taken by George Washington University in Washington, D.C. The Rutgers team has now placed in the top five at all three of its invitational tournaments this season.
