Real estate company Mack-Cali Realty of Edison announced on Jan. 22 it paid about $61.3 million for apartment complex Alterra at Overlook Ridge IA in Revere, Mass., from a group headed by insurance company Prudential in Newark. It also announced it paid $88.7 million for rental property Alterra at Overlook Ridge IB in Malden, Mass.
Lightstone Buys Hotels for $21M
Real estate trust Lightstone Value Plus Real Estate Investment Trust of Lakewood announced on Jan. 3 it paid about $21 million for three Midwestern hotel properties: SpringHill Suites by Marriott and Fairfield Inns & Suites by Marriott, both of West Des Moines, Iowa, and the Courtyard by Marriott in Willoughby, Ohio.
