Out-of-state class members may bring claims under the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act in a law firm’s suit over billing and calendaring software that allegedly contained a built-in “time bomb,” a federal judge in Camden says.

The suit, Kalow & Springut v. Commence Corp., 07-cv-3442, is on behalf of users of customer-relationship management software made by Commence Corp. of Tinton Falls, N.J., which allegedly stopped working on March 20, 2006.
