Publishing company John Wiley & Sons in Hoboken announced on Nov. 5 it paid about $24 million to acquire e-learning provider Efficient Learning Systems of Sedona, Az. On Nov. 8, Wiley announced its reference books portfolio, including the CliffNotes line, had been acquired by publisher Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Publishing in Boston.
Town Crossing Sold for $13.5M
JS Hovnanian & Sons, a real estate developer in Mount Laurel, announced on Nov. 5 it sold shopping area Town Crossing Shopping Center in Burlington Township to real estate investment firm Hampshire Real Estate in Morristown for about $13.5 million.
